The beautiful 10 arched Malin Bridge was built in 1758. It is built over the Ballyboe river and is said to be the second longest and probably the most northerly bridge in Ireland. The town of Malin was a planned settlement developed after the seige of Derry in 1689 and is based around a triangular green. It won the tidy town competition in 1970 and 1991.
