Ireland’s most northerly waterfall

Glenevin Waterfall is located at the end of a 1 km trail starting at Glen House near the village of Clonmany. The beautiful waterfall cascades down 40 feet into a pool known as Pohl–an-eas which translates to mean bathing place in Irish. The trail was washed away a few years ago by severe flash flooding but has recently been lovingly restored. This work has been carried out by Dorris Russo who along with many donations and hard work by locals has created new bridges, guard rails, and picnic benches to enjoy this magical ravine. Lastly be sure to stop into Glenevin House located at the car park for a cup of tea, coffee, and a scone.
