This pub started its life as a little farmhouse and is located on the Derry to Belfast road on the Glenshane Pass. It is reputedly the highest pub in Ireland. It has to be self sufficent due to it’s altitude and has it’s own turf bank for fuel, it’s own water supply from a mountain spring and it’s own electricity generator. It has also be seen in numerous movies and has been mentioned in many books including ‘Harry’s Game’. It’s a great place to stop for the views alone.
