Dalkey’s finest Victorian drinking establisment

Finnegan’s Pub is located in the pretty seaside village of Dalkey and was originally called O’Meara’s Pub. The building dates back to 1862 and it still has many of its original features including its Victorian facade and an ornate roof and back bar. It was purchased by Dan Finnegan in 1970 who renamed it ‘Finnegan’s Pub’. Dan’s family still work and run the place and have magically retained the charm and atmosphere of a well-run family business. This is the kind of place where you may spot beautiful people on a beautiful day or even a President. Top tip – try the food. Yum
